About ChipPulse

Independent by design

ChipPulse tracks the semiconductor industry — the companies designing, manufacturing, and equipping the chips that power AI, computing, and nearly every connected device on the planet.

Not sponsored by anybody

ChipPulse is not sponsored by Nvidia, AMD, Intel, TSMC, or any other chip company. We don't accept payment from the companies we cover, and we don't take a position in exchange for coverage. That's a deliberate choice, not an accident.

A lot of industry coverage online is quietly funded, directly or indirectly, by the companies being written about. We think that's worth being upfront about — and worth avoiding entirely.

Why that matters

When a publication depends on a chipmaker's ad budget, access, or sponsorship, it has an incentive — subtle or not — to soften criticism and amplify hype. We'd rather stay small and independent than build a business model that puts us in that position. Coverage on ChipPulse is based on what's actually happening in the industry: earnings calls, product roadmaps, capacity data, and export policy — not press releases dressed up as news.

What we cover

ChipPulse follows seven segments across the industry — AI chips and accelerators, advanced packaging and chiplets, foundry and process nodes, memory and storage, automotive and industrial chips, supply chain and geopolitics, and equipment and materials — along with the companies building each of them. Our Futures section covers near-term industry direction: what's real today and where it's realistically heading over the next two to three years, grounded in current technology and product roadmaps rather than distant speculation.
